My views on ART…

The world consists of art… I mean, after all, we are constantly surrounded by it. Art is  a way of visualising and displaying your ideas in a variety sort of manner. (So technically blogging has to fall under it, right??). My perception of art is viewed through photography and that is where my true life’s interest lies in. Yes, without the doubt, we have other artefacts that define art such as paintings, sculptures, music or poetry yet everyone has their own way of portraying it.

Elliot Erwitt once said “Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them”.

Art, as a whole, will always be defined in different types of way. To be honest, art has no true meaning because we live art everyday. People have given the term “art” a definition in order to categorise everyone in different forms of groups.

Regardless on how you view the world of art; your views, thoughts and opinions will always contradict with others. Have you ever asked yourself what the true meaning of art is? If you have, try asking others what they think it means, they might just agree or disagree with you.

To be totally honest, I think everyone is an artist in their own way. Some show it better than others because well… they’re pretty darn good at it. So, my question is, what artistic skills do you possess?? Are you photoprapher, painter or perhaps just a writer?
